The slim LED rear light units exude puristic elegance and extend well into the car’s flanks. This progression into the side surfaces is accentuated by a discreet patterning in the glass covers. The “L” shape familiar from many other BMW models is formed by an integrated chrome strip and the rear light bars positioned below it. The homogeneous distribution of light creates the impression of light being emitted directly from the glass covers.

Developed and produced in Marelli’s Italian Competence Center for rear lamps in Tolmezzo, the BMW i7’s rear lamp embodies sophisticated production processes. The beautiful edge pattern was obtained thanks to a precise tampon printing in the inner and outer lens. The chrome bar was accurately welded to the lens in a unique welding process established by Marelli Tolmezzo.
